  Ms. Jo-Ann, Administrator Afternoon
I have had over 30 years experience in childcare and development. I earned my Child Development Associate’s (CDA) Certification in the spring of 1998. I love antiques, flea market shopping and good books. One of the things I love the most about my job is the daily involvement I have with the children and their parents. I have three grandsons…Ethan, who graduated from Greystone House in 2017 and Callen & Garrison who currently attend Greystone House. It’s been a delight to see them grow and flourish at Greystone House.

  Ms. Christina, Administrator Morning
I am originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming. In May 2000, we moved from Portland, Oregon, where I was the Executive Director of the Pacific Northwest Intergovernmental Audit Forum for the U.S. General Accountability Office (GAO). I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming. My interests include playing the piano, singing, theater, and being in nature. I volunteer for Bravo Company, the educational wing of Stage Right Theater Co. at the Crighton Theater in Conroe, as their Music Director. I came to Greystone House in January of 2001. I received my Director’s Certificate from Child Care Licensing in 2012. I have a son and daughter, who are both Greystone House graduates, two stepdaughters and a grand-daughter that also graduated from Greystone House in 2017. I have learned so much from working with the staff and families of Greystone House over the years and am thankful for all the wonderful opportunities that Greystone House has provided for me and my family.

  Ms. Deepali, Primary Directress
I was born in India and came to the U.S. in 1995 with my husband. I have a bachelor’s degree in science and a post graduate diploma in computer management from the University of Bombay. Our daughter, Esha, and son, Neel, are both graduates of Greystone House. Esha is now attending the University of Texas - Dallas and Neel is in high school. I started my career in the US working as a programmer/analyst for six years. During that time my children started going to Greystone House. Soon I decided to change my career and work with children. I came on staff here 2003, and completed my Montessori certification in 2006. Working with children is definitely more challenging and enjoyable than programming. I have always believed in “follow the child” philosophy.

  Ms. Doreen, Infant Directress
I was born in Romania, and I have two adult daughters who both have graduated from college. I have been working with infants and toddlers since 1995 and hold a AMS Montessori certificate for birth through three-years old. Infants and toddlers are my passion! There is nothing so wonderful in the world as their laughter and their becoming independent. I am a gardener, and I love being outdoors, photography, and traveling. I have three grandchildren and two of the three attended Greystone House before their family moved to Mexico for my son-in-law’s job. I have been working at Greystone House since 2010.

  Ms. Jenn, Primary Directress
I came to Greystone House as a parent back in 2002. My son, Tate, started in the Primary Program and soon thereafter, my newborn daughter, Abbi began in the Infant Program. After working in the corporate world and then helping run the family business, I soon realized my passion for children. I came on staff in January 2008, and in the summer of 2011, I completed my training as a certified AMS Montessori Directress. My daughter is now in high school and my son is an upperclassman at the University of Texas in Austin. My hobbies include spending time with my children, baking, reading, and entertaining friends and family.

  Ms. Maggie, Toddler Teacher
I came to Greystone House in 2012 as an Infant Assistant Teacher and fell in love with the Montessori method. That is where my journey to certification began. I completed my AMS Infant/Toddler Certification in 2017. I love gardening and decided to make that a part of my research project for my certification - gardening with Toddlers!!! It was so much fun teaching the toddlers about the process and watching them plant seeds with their little fingers, water them every day, and seeing the joy and delight on their faces when the plants began to grow fruit or vegetables and smelling the fragrant herbs. I have three children of my own - Madison, David and Thomas and two step-daughters. My daughter just completed her Paul Mitchell cosmetology training in Houston in 2018, David graduated from high school in 2018 and is now in the working world, and Thomas is in high school.
