Ms. Amber, Administrator

From 2005, I have been part of Greystone House. This is my home away from home. I attended Midwestern State University and University of Texas at Arlington, initially majoring in Biology. When I had my first child in 1999, I knew my heart was with children. I began working at Greystone House in 2005 after moving to Spring and having my third son in 2004. I began my Montessori journey by becoming an Administrator. In December of 2017 I accepted a Primary position in our school. I recieved my Early Childhood AMS training at the Houston Montessori Center in 2018.

Ms. Rosa, Infant Teacher
I'm from Costa Rica. All my family is there, except a sister who lives in Miami, Florida. I came to this country 25 years ago, but I went to live in Miami with a Cuban family, who is very close to me because the lady was my teacher in elementary school. I lived there for about 12 years. We moved to Houston in 1991 because of my husband's job with AeroMexico Airlines.  We have two grown daughters.  I have been at Greystone House since August 1998.

Ms. Kim, Primary Directress
I was born in England, but I have lived in Houston since I was 10 years old. Marcus and I married in 1991. Our son Nathan was born in 1995, and Jacob was born in 1997. I have worked at Greystone House since 1988 when I was in high school. I took my Montessori training in Atlanta in 1991, and I find that every day is a new day when you work with all the children.

Ms. Emma, Toddler Directress
I found Greystone House in 2013, I was a college student considering eduction as a career and wanted some hands on experience. I knew I liked children, I did not know I would find my true passion and calling in working with children and families. I received a BS from the University of Houston in Human Development and Family Studies, and Infant and Toddler Montessori training at Houston Montessori Center. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, reading, crafting, and hanging out on the beach.
