When Greystone House opened its first location in 1984 it did so with a sense of purpose. We were founded by a working mother who wasn’t satisfied with leaving her children to institutions that fed cold cereal and hot dogs. When looking for schools to place her children she was aghast at how little she saw in the way of proper academic and social development. So she decided to change things herself.

Fast forward 36 years and we have remained true to the mission that launched us.

Today, Greystone House is a pair of independently owned schools that share a mission, philosophy and practices. Our owners and senior staff are professional educators bound by a desire to provide every child with the love and support they need to explore the world around them. As a company, we focus on making it easy for our owners to operate the business side of our schools so they can put more time and energy into what matters.
